Today you will arrive at Athens Airport and will then transfer to your hotel in the centre of Athens.
The remainder of the day will be free at leisure.
1st Overnight in Athens
The day will begin with breakfast at your hotel. In the morning , you depart for an organized Coach Tour : Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour including a guided visit of the Acropolis and of the Acropolis Museum.
This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you for short stop to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. We continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
Onto the Acropolis visit, the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. (see right)
Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum.
Return to the hotel at noon time – Rest of the day will be at your leisure, overnight will again be in Athens.
After breakfast, depart for an organized Coach Tour : Half Day Ancient Corinth Tour
Leave Athens and drive South West until we reach the Corinth Canal (see left) for a short stop which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Drive on and visit the ancient town of Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. The remains of the City, which include the Agora (market place) and Apollo’s Temple (6th century B.C.) clearly show how rich and important Corinth was in Ancient Times.
A short stop at the Site of the Ancient Port of Cehries, where St. Paul disembarked, will conclude the visit. We return to Athens in time for lunch.
Balance of the day will be free at leisure , overnight in Athens .
You will begin the day with breakfast at your hotel.
The whole day will be free for you to stroll around in Athens (see right) – you will have the chance to walk through the market roads and make your own explorations.
Overnight in Athens once more.
Depart for an organized Coach Tour to Delphi and Meteora
Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, arrive in Delphi and visit the Archaeological Site (see left) After the visit depart for Kalambaka, passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
Today we visit Meteora (see right) and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument), arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Private Transfer to Athens Airport for your flight back home.
