Nazareth, Central Israel & the Mediterranean Sea
The morning we head to stopping at Caesarea Marittima where Cornelius was converted and now known to be the home of Pontius Pilate. We continue to Mount Carmel where we encounter a stunning view from the roof thought to be in the spot where Elijah contested with the prophets of Ba’al. We depart for the Nazareth Village, a working open-air museum that re-enacts life in Galilee during the time of Jesus. Check-in to Lakehouse Hotel in Tiberias.

After breakfast we begin the day with a Boat trip on the Lake and hold a short communion service whilst “out at sea.” Landing in Capernaum we shall visit Tabgha (Feeding of the Five Thousand), and the Mount of Beatitudes before returning to Lakehouse Tiberius hotel.

We drive North for a walk in the Banias National Park to the waterfall at Caesarea Philippi. After lunch we visit the Baptismal site at Yardenit, before proceeding to Beit She’an where King Saul’s head was displayed. Drive south to Jerusalem and check into the Ramada hotel.

The Old City Walk
Today we shall start our walk at the Western (Wailing) Wall where it is likely that we shall see Bar Mitzvah’s taking place. Do not feel nervous about joining their celebrations, you will be welcome. We enter the city through Saint Stephen’s Gate (Also known as the Lion Gate), the Pool of Bethesda and the Via Dolorosa (The Way of Sorrows). We continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Overnight at the Ramada hotel Jerusalem.

Bethlehem and Jerusalem
This morning we visit Bethlehem and view the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields. In the afternoon Starting from the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Garden Tomb (Sometimes called Gordon’s Calvary) where there will be an opportunity for communion, and reflection. Goodbye to Israel
This morning we visit the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the amazing Model of the City showing Jerusalem as it may well have been in the time of Jesus. We transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return 17:15pm EL AL (LY317) flight home to London Heathrow landing at 20:45pm.
