Day 1 Tuesday 20 February

Depart UK for Israel – the Holy Land.

We will be taking a flight on ELAL.

Check-in at 11:20am at London Heathrow Airport -Terminal 4

Depart at 14:20 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 21:05

On arrival our local representatives, will help you with the formalities at Ben Gurion Airport. After passing through customs you will be introduced to your guide and driver, who will be with you throughout your pilgrimage. Transfer to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Wednesday 21 February

Start the day with a visit to Mount of Olives for an overview of the Old City. Walk down Palm Sunday to the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to enter the Old city from the Lion’s gate, visit the St. Ann church and Ecce Homo and continue thru the Via dolorosa (The Way of Sorrows) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

On the way stop for an observation of the old city from the rooftop of the Austrian Hospice

A walk through the Suk (Bazaar) will bring us to the Mt. Zion for a visit to the Upper Room and St. Peter of Galicantu church. We continue to the Western (Wailing) Wall and the Jewish Quarters with the Cardo (ancient Roman shopping street)

Afternoon visit to  the Garden Tomb where there will be an opportunity for communion.

Start the morning with Visit to Yad Vashem and Continue to visit the City of David Excavations – walk under the Old City to the Western Wall and davison center

Day 5 Saturday 24 February

After breakfast check out.

Depart to Tel Aviv for walking tour of Jaffa Old Reconstructed city Continue to Caesarea , to visit the Roman port and amphitheater built by King Herod the Great. View the aqueduct and visit the reconstructed old city. Onto Megiddo, site of Armageddon, visit the Tel were 17 layers of civilization were found.

Day 6 Sunday 25 February

This morning starts with a visit to church and Mary’s well, drive through Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first recorded miracle to Ginossar for a boat ride on a traditional sail boat across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum. Visit Magdala and Continue to Mt. Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount.  We visit Tabgha (feeding of the 5,000) and Capernaum where Jesus lived during much of his ministry in the Galilee and where he performed many miracles. Lunch stop at Ein Gev where we have an opportunity to enjoy St. Peter fish lunch (payable locally). Afternoon continue to Yardenit, traditional baptism site on the Jordan River.

Day 7 Monday 26 February

After Breakfast, depart from Nazareth and  drive to the Upper Galilee for a walk in the Banias National Park to the waterfall at Caesarea Philipi where it was revealed to Peter that Jesus is the Christ and Son of the Living God.

Continue to Mt. Bental for an observation over Syria. Lunch on the way and continue to Hula Valley Nature reserve, once a swamp and now a resting point for thousands of migrating birds.

Afternoon visit to Safed.  Walk the Narrow alleys and artist colony before returning to Nazareth

Day 8 Tuesday 27 February

Travel to the border for transfer to Jordan.

First stop is Madaba (St. George Church & Mosaic Map) – The mosaic-filled city of Madaba is just 30 minutes south of Amman on the Kings Highway. The major highlight is the Greek Orthodox Basilica of St. George or the Church of the Map that portrays the old Holly Land with 2 Million pieces of mosaic, a huge well -preserved work of art comprises a map of the entire region of Jordan and Palestine in the north, to Egypt in the south.

Then onto Mount Nebo – Moses Mountain, situated 10 kilometers west of Madaba, overlooking the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, West Bank and Jerusalem, where believed the alleged sites of the tomb of Moses. The major highlight is the Byzantine Church built by the 4th century to memorial Prophet Moses death, and the spot where Moses view the “Land of Canaan” the Holy Land that he would not enter

Day 9 Wednesday 28 February

After breakfast we visit Petra – Known as the ‘Pink-Rose City’ or the “Lost City” is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a breathtaking walking tour today through the ruins of ancient Petra – the city that the Nabateans carved out of solid rock dating back to 300 BC! special moments to walk through a passage the Siq, which dramatically opens up to reveal the Treasury Building (Al-Khazneh). We will see also the Roman Theatre, Corinthian tomb, Palace of Pharos’s Daughter, the Carved Roman Theater and the Royal Courts, along with one of the oldest Cathedral of the Bishop high-chair.
