Depart from Luton for your day time flight to Ben Gurion Airport Tel Aviv. Transfer to hotel in time for evening dinner where you will be checking-in your hotel.
The morning starts with a drive to Mt. Carmel where stuning view from a roof thought to be in the spot where where Elijah contested with the prophets of Ba’al. Passing Mt Arbel we visit Magdala and Mount Tabor. After lunch an afternoon walk in the Banias National Park to the waterfall at Caesarea Philipi. Should timings work well the lunch stop will be at a Druze Village where you can try their unique style of food. (not included in price unless requested). Return via the eastern shore of the lake and visit Bethsaida, Chorazin and Kursi
Drive the short distance to Nazareth and visit Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle. Visit to Mt Precipice. We will visit the Nazareth Village and the Basilica of the Annunciation before travelling the 30 minute Journey to the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Enjoy St Peter fish lunch and take a boat trip on the Lake and hold a short communion service whilst “out at sea.” Landing in Capernaum we shall visit Tabgha (Feeding of the 5000), a visit to Mensa Christi (“Feed My Sheep”) and the Mt of Beatitudes and the Erebos Cave before returning to your hotel.
In the morning first a visit to the Baptismal site at Yardenit before a visit to Beit She’an where King Saul’s head was displayed. Visit Mt Gilboa before we continue on to Meggido (Armageddon) before stopping at Caesarea (Maritima) where Cornelius was converted and now known to be the home of Pontius Pilate. Visit Gideon’s well als known as Harod spring. Check-in to your Hotel.
Today we shall start our walk at the Western (Wailing) Wall. Next to the Temple Mount, St Stephen’s Gate (Also known as the Lion Gate), Pool of Bethesda, the Via Dolarosa (The Way of Sorrows). A stop for rest and an amazing view at the Austrian Hospice before continuing to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.We will visit Caiphas’ House, Mt Zion, The Upper Room and David’s Tomb A short walk will bring you to the Cardo the main street from the time of Jesus.. Evening free.
This morning we visit Bethlehem and view the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields. An opportunity to visit and meet the Arab Christians at Beit al Liqa (www.beitliqa.orgClick on English!)We will visit Lazarus Tomb. In the afternoon Starting from the Mount of Olives and a visit to the Church of the Ascention; visit Dominus Flavit (The Tear Drop Church), the Garden of Gethsemane and the Garden Tomb (Sometimes called Gordan’s Calvary) where there will be an opportunity for communion.
An early visit to Yad Vashem before we travel down the Jericho Road to the lowest point on Earth at approximately 1300 ft below Sea Level. An opportunity for a short Camel ride on the “Zero” Camel on route! A visit to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Visit to the excavations in ancient Jericho, Elisha spring and ascend to the Mt of temptation by cable car before spending time in mud baths, swimming in the Dead Sea, taking Natural Hot Sulphur Spring baths and swimming in the pool at one of the Dead Sea Spa resorts.
Drive to Ein-Karem (Birth place of St. John the Beptist) and visit the church of Benedictus”. Stop at “Emaous”. Time permitting, Drive to the Ela-Valley”(David killed Goliath the Philistine). Next visit Jaffa (Joppa in the Bible) Before coming to the Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight.
