We are met by our UK guide who will transfer us the very short journey to the Renaissance Hotel Heathrow where we will have brunch on arrival. After brunch we will visit Windsor Castle (see right) which is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and The Queen’s favourite weekend home. We return to our hotel in time for evening dinner & overnight.

Monday 8th November 2021

After breakfast we have a full day touring in Oxford (see left). We begin with a 1.5hr walking tour of Oxford, a city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’. University College and Magdalen College are off the High Street, which runs from Carfax Tower (with city views) to the Botanic Garden on the River Cherwell. We will visit the Baliliol College before making a lunch stop (payable locally). After lunch, optional free time at your leisure where you can explore the city or visit one of the public museums which are free such as the Ashmolean museum. We return for evening dinner and overnight at the Renaissance Hotel Heathrow once more.

Wednesday 10th November 2021

We begin the day with Israeli buffet style breakfast. Our first visit will be Jaffa (see left), this is the oldest part of Tel Aviv, most well-known for the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter. Onto Caesarea Maritime (home of Pontius Pilate). We continue North towards the Sea of Galilee, on route we stop off at Meggido (also known as Armageddon) in the Bible. We arrive in time for evening dinner at Kibbutz Hagoshrim.

Thursday 11th November 2021

Following breakfast, we visit the town of Magdala (home of Mary Magdalene), we then enjoy the calmness of the Sea of Galilee with a Boat ride across to Capernaum where we view the ruins of the great ancient synagogue. (see right) We return to our hotel once more in time for evening dinner & overnight at Hagoshrim.

Friday 12th November 2021

Following breakfast, we take a very early transfer to the Sheik Hussein border crossing to arrive for 9am (approx.) We cross into Jordan and are met by our Jordanian guide and coach driver. Our first stop will be the ancient ruins of the city Jerash (see left). Onto Madaba to view the famous mosaic (St. George Church & Mosaic Map) before we ascend Mount Nebo where Moses viewed the promised land. We transfer in time for dinner & overnight at the Petra Moon Hotel.

After Breakfast we are in store for the highlight of Jordan. We spend a whole day touring Petra (see right), shown around by a local Bedouin guide who resides in the city.

Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan’s southwestern desert. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the “Rose City.” Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as “The Treasury”.

We return for dinner and overnight at the Petra Moon hotel.

Sunday 14th November 2021

After breakfast we make our final stop in Jordan at Wadi Rum (see left). Lawrence of Arabia famously named it “Rum the Magnificent”.

Wadi Rum is a protected desert wilderness in southern Jordan. It features dramatic sandstone mountains like the many-domed Jebel Um Ishrin, and natural arches such as Burdah Rock Bridge. Many prehistoric inscriptions and carvings line rocky caverns and steep chasms, such as Khazali Canyon. The natural watering hole of Lawrence’s Spring is named after British soldier Lawrence of Arabia, who allegedly washed there.

We cross back into Israel via the Arava border crossing in Eilat and make the journey (approx. 3 hours) to the David hotel at the Dead Sea in time for dinner and overnight, on route we will view King Solomon’s mines as you drive by through the Negev desert.

Monday 15th November 2021

After breakfast, we visit Ein Gedi which is literally known as “spring of the kid” an oasis and a nature reserve in Israel, located west of the Dead Sea.

Should timings permit we will stop for a short float in the Dead Sea (see right) before transfer to Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel in time for dinner and overnight.

PLEASE NOTE: WE SUGGEST YOU BRING A TOWEL WITH YOU FOR THE DEAD SEA DAY! You can hire towels on site for around 10 Shekels, payable locally.

Tuesday 16th November 2021

Following breakfast, the morning is free at your own leisure to explore Jerusalem. After lunch we depart the hotel at approx. 1pm for a half day tour of Jerusalem. We begin with a visit to the Western (Wailing) Wall (see left), this is the only remaining section of the second temple, most holy to the Jewish people. Next, the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed and slept with his disciples the night before his crucifixion and finally we finish at the Garden Tomb, one of the possible sites considered to be the place of Calvary. We then return for dinner and overnight again at Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel.

Wednesday 17th November 2021

After breakfast, we depart Jerusalem (see right) and transfer to Ben Gurion airport for our flight to London, on route we stop at Neot Kedumim, the Biblical Landscape Reserve in Israel, is located halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. This unique recreation of the physical setting of the Bible in all its depth and detail allows visitors to see life as it was lived by our ancestors 3,000 years ago. We have lunch in the Garden made up of food Jesus would have eaten before we depart for our late afternoon flight landing in London in the evening. Dinner will be served during your flight. Overnight stay at the Renaissance Heathrow.

We pack our bags and share a full English breakfast for the final time together, reflecting with one another on the amazing journey of significance we have had together, time to say our goodbyes.
