Day 1 Thursday 4th November Tel Aviv
Depart UK and arrive at Ben Gurion Airport Tel Aviv, where you will meet your guide and transfer to your hotel, in Netanya, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea – for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Friday 5th November Netanya – Sea of Galilee
We start the day at Caesarea, visiting the remains of Herod’s harbour and palace, the amphitheatre and the new visitor centre. Then we journey north we ascend Mt. Carmel to Muhraka, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal, then on to the Crusader city of Akko (Acre). Light permitting we will view Lake Galilee from the top of Mt. Arbel. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Day 3 Saturday 6th November – Galilee
Our first stop is Mount Tabor, believed to be the site of the Transfiguration; the ride up and down the hairpin bends is very exciting! Then onto Nazareth. Visit the Nazareth Village and Cana and ending the day at Yardenit, the baptismal site on the River Jordan. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 4 – Sunday 7th November- Sea of Galilee – Jerusalem
Start the day with a boat trip, visit the Mt of Beatitudes, we continue our exploration round the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Communion at Tabgha and Primacy of Peter of Peter. We start our transfer to Jerusalem via Jericho and a visit to the Mt of Temptation and we see the traditional site of the Sycamore Tree. We then journey on up to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 5 – Monday 8th November- Jerusalem
Today we visit the Mt of Olives and we will walk down the Palm Sunday route to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Church of Dominus Flevit and the Church of the Agony. Visit Mt Zion and the Room of the Last Supper. In the afternoon we shall visit Bethlehem, Church of the Nativity and Shepherd’s Fields; where we will have an opportunity to shop for olive wood souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 6 –Tuesday 9th November – Dead Sea Masada
Today we travel south through the beautiful Judean hills and descend 3,600 feet to the Dead Sea, visiting the Qumran caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. We drive along the shore of the Dead Sea and ascend Masada by cable car, the spectacular desert fortress. In the afternoon we have time to experience floating in the Dead Sea and perhaps even a mud bath and a visit to the Ahava factory. On our return we will visit Bethany and the Tomb of Lazarus Dinner subject to prevailing conditions Overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 7 – Wednesday 10th November – Jerusalem
Enter the old city via the Lion Gate and visit St Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda. Walk down the Via Dolorosa ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Day 8 – Thursday 11th November – Tel Aviv
After breakfast communion at the Garden Tomb. Drive by the Knesset Building – Israel’s parliament and see the famous Menorah. Visit the Israel Museum and see the Model of the City of Jerusalem at the time of the 2nd Temple and also the Shrine of the Book – a section dedicated to the Dead Sea scrolls. Then onwards to visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Museum. Overnight Jerusalem
Day 9 – Friday 12th November – Jerusalem – London
Transfer to Ben Gurion departures for your flight to London Heathrow.
