Whatever name you give it: The Promised Land, The Holy Land, or simply Israel, each name invokes awe and wonderment. Whether you think of Israel historically or geographically, spiritually or theologically you will find it there, and more. Come with us, for we are going again to this amazing part of the world. There the Bible comes alive in ways you never could imagine.

This is a great opportunity to join us on this fascinating tour, walking in the footsteps of Jesus. While we shall visit many of our favourite sites, we shall also visit sites which first time visitors rarely see, as you can read in the itinerary below. We meet with local Jewish and Arab followers of Jesus, which is all part of the experience. Our Guide in Israel will be a licensed experienced guide who has an extensive knowledge and experience of the land of the Bible. People who have toured with us in the past speak about it as being the best holiday ever, but it is far more than a holiday. That’s why many return, numerous times. Born and raised on the Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles of Scotland. My mother tongue is Scottish Gaelic and my early career was in retail and wholesale management 1972-1988.

I became a Christian in 1985, and soon knew my future was to be based in teaching the faith, so I began training for ministry as a second ‘career’ or vocation in 1990.

I was minister at Gardenstown from 1995-2018, retiring from active ministry in August of 2018. Since them God has allowed me to follow other avenues of Christian service. I am able to lead services in local churches of various denominations, as well as being part of the organising team for the Moray Coast Convention, previously know as ‘Keswick in Buckie.’  It has been my great privilege to be a part of a mission supporting church, helping missions around the world, providing them with practical and spiritual support.

Over the years my faith has taken me to Israel and Jordan many times, and numerous times as tour leader since 2008. I have preached in America, Africa and Brazil and Israel as well as over 3000 times in Scotland.

I am involved with groups who have Israel at heart, and have regularly had visitors from these groups and from Israel speaking to our church.

I have been married to Suzanne since 1982 and we have 3 children, and 6 grandchildren. In my spare time (I’ve still to discover what that is,) I like photography, seeing new places, and have also taken a number of cruise holidays to interesting places around Europe and the Far Fast. Lately most of our foreign visits are to our grandchildren in Canada.
