My name is Jemrose Leanora Walker. I have been a believer in Yahshua (Jesus) since I was a child. I was trained in the ministry and served in the church for many years as the national creative arts coordinator and worship leader. I am currently serving in Rwanda, overseeing an NGO which supports orphaned and vulnerable youth by offering them the “Gift of Education”. I first came to Rwanda in 2000, and although I’ve had to return to the UK often, for various reasons, my heart has remained here.

From a child I’ve always dreamed about visiting “The Holy Land” of Israel; to walk on the actual paving stones on which Yahshua (Jesus) himself walked. The dream became a reality in 2004 when a small group of us made pilgrimage. Our planning was made so much easier through the help of a wonderful man by the name of Chris Jones of tours@travelinkuk.com. Eight amazing days etched into our minds and souls forever! We made a pact that we would return every 3 years. We are now preparing to make our 6th pilgrimage. I hope you will be able to join us.

We start with a visit to Caesarea (Home of Pontius Pilate), next to Mt. Carmel (Muchraka) where Elijah contested the prophets of Baal, Megiddo also better known as Armageddon in the Bible, we finish the day at the Nazareth Village which is a working reconstruction of the town at the time of Jesus.

We begin with a glorious Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus calmed the storm, we dock at Capernaum the town of Jesus where he did much of his ministry, onto the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the greatest sermon of all “The Sermon on the Mount”. We drive North into Upper Galilee to see Banias (better known as Caesarea Phillipi in the Bible) where Jesus asks Peter “Who do you say I am”, we finish with a stunning view from Mt. Bental before returning to Degania Bet in Tiberius.

Following breakfast we head to Beit Shean where King Sauls head was displayed, we pass through the Jordan River Valley on our way to Jerusalem. We ascend Mt. of Olives to view the classic view over Jerusalem and the Old City. Onto the Upper Room site of the last upper & Mt. Zion. We finish this day with a tour of the Israel Museum including the model city at the time of the 2^ndTemple Model shown in 1:50 scale. Check into the Shepherds Plaza Bethlehem hotel.

We ascend Masada via cable car to see this amazing stronghold where around 1000 Jewish rebels held off the Romans siege for a few years before eventually taking their own lives instead of becoming slaves to the Romans. Onto, Ein Gedi Nature reserve, Qumran the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered in the caves by a local boy, before finishing the day with a relaxing Dead Sea Float.

Today we begin at the City of David including Hezekiah’s Tunnel (make sure you bring old trainers and a torch and towel for this as you will get wet, Southern Steps of the Temple Mount, Western Wall to see the most Holy remaining site for the Jewish people & Rabbinical Tunnels. We see the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo, Temple Institute, Hurva Synagogue, before finishing at the Tower of David Museum, including tour of the Kishle, site of the Trial of Jesus.
