After breakfast we shall drive the short distance to Nazareth, passing through Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first recorded miracle. We will visit the Nazareth Village and the Basilica of the Annunciation before travelling the thirty-minute journey to the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Following a St Peter’s fish lunch in Tiberias we shall take a boat trip on the lake and hold a short communion service whilst “out at sea.” Landing in Capernaum we shall visit Tabgha (‘Feeding of the Five Thousand’), Mensa Christi (‘Feed My Sheep’), and the Mount of Beatitudes before returning to Mary’s Well Nazareth.

The morning starts with a drive to Mt Carmel where a stunning view from a roof thought to be in the spot where Elijah contested with the prophets of Ba’al. Next to Saffori and the capital of Galilee in the time of Jesus. After lunch an afternoon walk in the Banias National Park to the waterfall at Caesarea Philippi where Jesus asked the question ‘Who do you say I am? Should timings work well the lunch stop will be at a Druze Village where you can try their unique style of food. (not included in price unless requested) Overnight at Mary’s Well Nazareth.

In the morning first a visit to the Baptismal site at Yardenit before a visit to Beit She’an where King Saul’s head was displayed. Next a visit to the ancient synagogue at Beit Alpha. We continue on to Meggido (Armageddon) before stopping at Caesarea (Maritima) where Cornelius was converted and now known to be the home of Pontius Pilate. Overnight at Nativity hotel in Bethlehem.

We start our walk at the Western (Wailing) Wall where it is likely you will see Bar mitzvah’s taking place. You are welcome to join in with their celebrations. Next, to the Temple Mount, St Stephen’s Gate (Also known as the Lion Gate), Pool of Bethesda, the Via Do la rosa (The Way of Sorrows). We stop for some rest and an amazing view at the Austrian Hospice before continuing to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. A walk through the Suk (Bazaar) will bring you to the Cardo the main street from the time of Jesus. Next, we visit the Davidson Centre before reaching the Southern Steps of the Temple where Jesus overturned the temple rogue traders. The evening is free at your lesiure. Overnight at Nativity hotel Bethlehem.

This morning, we visit Bethlehem and view the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields. There will be an opportunity to visit and meet the Arab Christians at Beit al Liqa. In the afternoon starting from the Mount of Olives, we visit Dominus Flevit (The Tear Drop Church), the Garden of Gethsemane and the Garden Tomb (sometimes called Gordon’s Calvary) where there will be an opportunity for communion, and reflection. Overnight at Nativity Bethlehem.

 

 

Sunday 26th April 2026Read More

Today we travel down the Jericho Road to the lowest point on Earth at approximately 1300 ft below sea level. First a visit to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Next, ascend to the summit of Masada by cable car to hear its amazing story. We stop for lunch (paid locally) at the Ahava Dead Sea products base for an opportunity to buy some special cosmetics before spending time in mud baths, floating in the Dead Sea, taking Natural Hot Sulphur Spring baths and swimming in the pool at one of the Dead Sea Spa resorts such as Kalia Beach. Overnight at Nativity Bethlehem.

 

Monday 27th April 2026Read More

This morning we visit the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the amazing model of the city, showing Jerusalem as it may well have been in the time of Jesus, before a final visit to the Old City for some shopping or simply relaxation. After a biblical lunch at Neot Kedumin, We transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight home to London Luton departing at 16:10pm (LY313) and landing at Heathrow for 19:35pm.
